Fantastic location, staff were excellent, service was great, food was great. The handyman who managed the sauna was excellent, very personable and helpful. The only minor thing for us was that the rooms need a tad updating, the condition wasn't amazing. However we would go back and recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a bit of piece and quiet.

We’ve just had a fantastic stay at this property!! Michele was really helpful in making all the special arrangements for a birthday. Anna was really sweet, and so were the other staff. This is a quaint, beautiful property; tastefully designed and very well maintained. Good food, great service and time well spent:) looking forward to returning during the summer!!

Fantastic setting on the lake side. The hotel is cosy. The rooms are a little tired in places, but perfectly serviceable. The staff were friendly but need a bit more management, quite a bit of standing around, not being proactive, especially at breakfast, (slow to replenish, offer tea/coffee, etc). Tia was welcoming and the most attentive.

Had a great couple of days here. Staff are great. Nothing was to much bother. Central location (believe it or not) made it easy to get to local towns as well as cities. Breakfast was plentiful, and the evenings to have meals in the conservatory was pleasant. All in all, a lovely hotel.

Lovely location on the water edge of the lake of Menteith. Cosy bar with log fire/attentive staff & very nice conservatory with a nice choice of continental breakfast or a tasty selection of food menu. Cheese & wine / afternoon tea & scones /Quiz / music ' jamming session ' & whisky tasting all available. Transport required & close to Aberfoyle/ Doune/Callander/Dunblane & Stirling attractions. The fishing on the Lake of Menteith & the island of Inchmahome/Priory is a great attraction Improvements by Karma always ongoing to impress the members & bring the property up to their high expections/standards.

All i have to say is wow. Beautiful hotel, stunning location, excellent service and great food. The staff were friendly, helpful and extremely polite and professional even when you could see they were busy. They always made time to see if there was anything we needed or they could help with. Would definitely go again and would recommend to anyone.

Perfect, relaxing, lovely room and the staff are very welcoming. Provided a dog bed but Norman is a fully grown Irish Wolfhound.

Having stayed before took some friends for lunch. Great table with a stunning view over the the lake. Staff were helpful, fun and attentive. Small issue with the soup was dealt with quickly and efficiently, otherwise the meal was delicous
